On August 24, 2024, CiPD, in collaboration with Robify, hosted TechSpectra 2024 at IIIT-Delhi, introducing students to the fundamentals of robotics through a structured, hands-on workshop. The “Making Your First Robot” session provided an immersive experience, equipping participants with the knowledge and tools to build their first fully functional robot.

The workshop focused on bridging the gap between theory and practice. Students explored the core principles of robotics and automation, learning how motors, sensors, and microcontrollers work together to create intelligent systems. They assembled mechanical components, integrated electronic parts, and programmed their robots, gaining direct exposure to real-world engineering challenges.

A key highlight of the event was the Mega Robotics Kit, provided to each participant, ensuring hands-on experience with industry-standard components.
